Doing the final embellishment on “Cuppa Joe” and then it’s off to Trackside Studios on Depot Street here in Asheville. Doesn’t it look like cream swirling in a nice, fresh hot coffee?
“Work in Progress”. That is what artists call a piece while working on it. Not quite done, but getting there. And as you work on a piece, at any stage an idea will come and steer you in an entirely different direction.
Let me tell you when I’m maneuvering the paint on a canvas, the paint has a mind of it’s own. It is always a surprise how it turns out.
The term “Work in Progress” makes me ponder my life. It certainly seems that is what it is! In every part of my life I am still finding my way, stretching and growing.
